Greetings all! It having been nearly two years since the last entry, it is apparent the ongoing Wehrmacht of life does not in fact cease rolling, nor the clock ticking! The last few years have been epic, not only for myself but for the general climate in regards to those who felt it. The University experience, spanning three states and six years, has come to its degreed conclusion, and yet somehow learning continues perennial. A second publishing label was established, Withdrawal Studios, and more titles taken under the wing of Americanime Corporation, the parent company to the sibling publishing labels, Americanime Productions and Withdrawal Studios, who surprisingly have little degree of sibling rivalry and get along quite well, despite their intrinsic differences apparently sharing the same blood. Progress is sought tirelessly in regards to each, as the titles offered are worthy of heed, yes, please, check them out and prove me wrong, in detail please, properly formatted in apa style for the in-text citations, chicago style for the works cited; get it, got it, whatever.

Currently freelancing as a writer and occasional journalist, conquering  research papers and custom essays for those not academically inclined with the short-sword, while the primary blade is first and foremost devoted to attacking screenwriting. Drug-Land Security and Bounty Killer, should Providence recognize eternally ruthless determination and the bones clatter to a stop in the proper alignment, may grace the medium of film. In the interim however I've established Hidden Agenda Films, putting together production and smithing the script to an independent film project, details to be announced!

Life: Business: I've learned a few things, experience is expensive, but I'm down with sharing although don't call me socialist --- In the immortal words of Frank, "Never underestimate the OTHER guy's greed! HA HA HA" well, Frank, you curiously Jewish-looking Cuban, your goddamn correct. Look out for your bottom-line, sure, employees and/or ostensible friends will have endless stories on why they deserve more, their wants and needs etc., but no, form a plan, and adhere like super-glue, as without the solidity of the bottom-line, the base falls out and everyone goes for a free-fall, not the Tom Petty whimsical kind either. Optimism is great; I am an executive dreamer, but were I a dreaming executioner, things may have flowed differently. Cut-throat business practices infringe upon honor, but so does budgetary leniency on success, and so what to do? Form a plan around a dream, and keep that dream central and intrinsic to everything, veering for nothing. Caska, from Berserk, had an interesting analogy, in that a man with a dream is like a great fire, and this great fire attracts the smaller flames of individuals seeking direction, eager to throw their energy into the bigger fire, hoping to raise their own to new levels and heights with it. It must be recognized this is not out of an impersonal and selfless quest towards increased synergy, but merely another form of self interest. However molding this self interest to serve both the flame and the fire is the prerequisite necessity to an expedient capitalization of both, and thus the goal of honorable profiteering, an elusive concept, thereby reinforcing the merits of single-minded entrepreneurship.

And so to summarize this verbose journal entry, live life to the fullest, pursue that which must be achieved without exception, and deliver good karma all around, as what goes around ostensibly comes back around, I though I told you, hey... Lyrically averse; the best of luck to all in their myriad endeavors, talent and determination mix together to serve up one powerful shot, take it down, let it tingle, live it up.

Devious Journal Entry

I am currently in the process of compiling an anthology that Americanime Productions will be releasing. It will contain 4-8 different titles within its graphic novel format. While I am currently speaking with numerous titles, submissions are still being accepted for future issues. If I pick up your title for the anthology, and it is succesful, there is a chance to get your own ongoing series! Compensation for the participating titles would be a percentage in the profit of the issues they contribute to. I intend upon first utilizing the online community, then moving into national distribution through retail outlets. Aside from individual comic series and compilations, prints and posters of each title will be produced along with the issues. So if you have a comic or web-comic and are interested in getting your work published, exposed to the public, and potentially make cash, contact me at michael@americanimeproductions.com for more details. Thanks!

Hey all !!! Its the thirteenth, a lucky number. I started this deviant post to gain exposure for my comic "Katharsis" before the site is up, and to recruit additional titles for my launch. What I am looking for is original series, particularly web comics. Quality artwork is key, particularly of the manga/anime flavor. Freelance artists are also welcome, as I may have use now, and will certainly have need in the future, of additional talent to develop more projects. send your submissions and inquiries to michael@americanimeproductions.com , the forums are currently up, [link] , so feel free to stop by and drop a line.
